UEFA has launched a Spanish version of its anti-doping module on the UEFA Training Ground section of UEFA.com. At the same time, UEFA has teamed up with FIFA to create a version of the same module which will soon be available on FIFA's website, FIFA.com.

The anti-doping module on the UEFA Training Ground was launched in 2007 and was the first part of the elearning site to be available in UEFA's three official languages of English, French and German.

The module is aimed at everyone from young players up to professionals and their coaches. It features animations, quizzes and videos of some of football's biggest stars giving a clear anti-doping message. The module covers all aspects of anti-doping, including doping control procedure, recreational drugs, and the risks involved with common medicines and food supplements.

The launch of the Spanish version of the module on UEFA.com, and the availability of the whole module on FIFA.com, underlines UEFA and FIFA's commitment to the fight against doping, and in particular to educating players of all ages about the harm that doping can do to their bodies and their careers.

UEFA carries out anti-doping education sessions at the final tournaments of all its youth competitions, reaching almost 1,000 young players every year, and produces an educational leaflet which is sent to over 25,000 players each season.

The anti-doping module, in all four languages, can be found at http://elearning.uefa.com/.
