Jol offers Santini support

Dutchman Martin Jol will be assistant to coach Jacques Santini at Tottenham Hotspur FC next season.

English experience
Jol, like France coach Santini, will take up his post with the Premiership club after UEFA EURO 2004™. The 48-year-old, who had playing spells in England with West Bromwich Albion FC and Coventry City FC in the early 1980s, left Dutch side RKC Waalwijk at the end of the season after his contract expired.

'Exciting challenge'
"I am extremely happy to be joining Tottenham Hotspur," Jol told the Spurs website. "I know the club well from my time in England as a player. I enjoyed my time at RKC but I wanted a new and exciting challenge."
