Experience needed
Viander, 27, arrives as a replacement for goalkeeper Peter Skov-Jensen who is sidelined for six weeks with a broken toe. With only the inexperienced duo of Anders Rasmussen and Lasse Heintze to call on as back-up, Midtjylland have brought in the out-of-favour Stoke keeper.
Welcome reinforcement
"We are very happy that we were able to find such a good keeper," Midtjylland sports director Jens Ørgaard said. "After Peter Skov-Jensen's injury we were looking vulnerable. The Superliga is very competitive and we needed a reinforcement." Viander lost his first-team place at Second Divison Stoke earlier this season. He has 15 Finland caps.
