UCL quarter-finals Paris Saint-Germain vs. FC Barcelona

The UEFA Appeals Body has taken the following decision:

Match: 2023/2024 UEFA Champions League quarter-finals first leg, Paris Saint-Germain vs. FC Barcelona (2:3) played on 10 April in France

Charges against FC Barcelona:

• Acts of damage, Art. 16(2)(f) of the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations (DR)

• Lighting of fireworks, Art. 16(2)(c) DR

• Racist behaviour, Art. 14 DR

Decision:

The UEFA Appeals Body has decided:

• to fine FC Barcelona €2,000 for lighting of fireworks.

• to fine FC Barcelona €5,000 for acts of damage.

• to order FC Barcelona to contact Paris Saint-Germain within 30 days for the settlement of the damages caused by its supporters, i.e. for the damaged seats.

• to fine FC Barcelona €25,000 and to ban the FC Barcelona from selling tickets to its away supporters for its next (1) UEFA competition match, for the racist behaviour of its supporters. Said ban from selling tickets to its away supporters is suspended for a probationary period of one (1) year, starting from the date of the present decision.
