Freier out for three months

VfL Bochum 1848 and Germany midfield player Paul Freier will be out until December.

German international midfield player Paul Freier will be out of action until December after breaking a bone in his right foot.

Misses remaining qualifiers
Freier was expected to play on the left wing in Saturday's UEFA EURO 2004™ qualifier against Group 5 leaders Iceland but will now miss the rest of the qualifying campaign. The 23-year-old from VfL Bochum 1848 suffered the injury in the cup defeat by SV Jahn Regensburg last weekend.
