Unsporting behaviour
The Serbian was sent off in the second half of the Group G match for a foul on Damien Duff - his second yellow card - but he was also caught on video spitting at Chelsea forward Adrian Mutu earlier in the game. In addition to the suspension, the UEFA Control and Disciplinary Body fined Mihajlovic €12,700 for his repeated unsporting behaviour.
Appeal by Monday
The Control and Disciplinary Body took into account the player's previous record in reaching its decision. The suspension will apply to UEFA club competition matches. Mihajlovic has until midnight on Monday 10 November to appeal against the decision.
