'My work is appreciated'
The 22-year-old striker quickly agreed new terms with the Alpha Ethiniki club, who currently lie third in the Greek top flight, five points behind leaders Olympiacos CFP. "I feel that my work is being appreciated," said Salpingidis, who is the second-highest scorer in the league with six goals. "From now on, I will have more responsibilities towards the team."
Debrecen tie
PAOK drew the first leg of their UEFA Cup second-round tie 1-1 at home to Debreceni VSC, and travel to Hungary for the return on 27 November.
