Pain in the knee
The 29-year-old Nigerian had been suffering pain in the knee for over a year and last December received treatment for the problem in the United States. Partizan hope West will be able to resume training in a month's time.
Winter break
"I have put on a new leg, so now I will be even better," joked West, who will return to action after the winter break. Partizan are bottom of Group F with games against FC Porto and Olympique de Marseille to come.
