Levski continue squad revamp

PFC Levski Sofia have signed midfield player Kostadin Vidolov and released striker Nyren Njogu Demba.

Coach's reunion
The 33-year-old returns to Bulgaria after being released by German club 1. FC Union Berlin. Levski coach Georgi Vasilev previously worked with Vidolov at both Union and PFC CSKA Sofia.

'Aiming high'
"Everything is clear and I am ready for my new challenge," said Vidolov, who has agreed an 18-month contract. "I know the club is aiming high." He joins fellow new boys Stefan Donchev, a defender, and striker Liubomir Liubenov.

Striker leaves
Levski have also released Swedish forward Nyren Njogu Demba by mutual consent. A summer signing from FC Aris Thessaloniki, he is expected to return to Greece. Levski will play Liverpool FC in the UEFA Cup third round, with the first leg due in England on 26 February.
