Parlour to miss Celta games

Ray Parlour will be out for up to six weeks - including both legs of Arsenal FC's next UEFA Champions League tie.

Terry tackle
Parlour had to be replaced in the 51st minute of Arsenal's FA Cup fifth-round victory against Chelsea FC. He had sustained the injury in a challenge with visiting defender John Terry.

Four to six weeks
The 30-year-old will be sidelined for between four and six weeks, meaning he should be fit to play in the second leg of any Champions League quarter-final should Arsenal eliminate Celta. The clubs will meet next Tuesday in Spain before the return match at Highbury on 10 March.

Out of action
Parlour will also miss the FA Cup quarter-final against either Liverpool FC or Portsmouth FC and a number of league matches, starting with this weekend's fixture against Chelsea - first versus third in the Premiership.

Wenger hope
Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger will hope to have Thierry Henry and possibly Fredrik Ljungberg available again for the latter game. "There is a slight, slight chance he'll be back for Chelsea," said the Frenchman of the Swede.
