New faces for Groclin

Groclin Grodzisk Wielkopolski have strengthened by signing two players from MKS Odra Wodzislaw Slaski.

International class
Polish international midfield player Marcin Nowacki, 22, has signed a four-and-a-half year deal while 30-year-old Czech defender Radim Sablik has a contract taking him up to the summer of 2007. However, neither will be eligible for the UEFA Cup. Groclin only registered fellow new faces Robert Górski, Michal Stasiak and Adrian Sikora before the 2 February deadline.

Extra class
Speaking to uefa.com, Zbigniew Drzymala, the Groclin owner and president, said: "We want to avoid the situation from the first part of the season where we lost a few points because there were not enough players of sufficient quality in the team."
