Anfield defeat hurts Lille's Landreau

LOSC Lille Métropole goalkeeper Mickaël Landreau ackowledged that Liverpool FC had the edge over his side after they lost 3-0 at Anfield, but having won the first leg of their UEFA Europa League round of 16 tie 1-0, Les Dogues had hoped for more. "They have two great players [Fernando Torres and Steven Gerrard]," Landreau said. "It is the end of a nice journey for us, but we're frustrated as we wanted to achieve something great. After conceding an early goal, we had a chance to equalise so we cannot help but be disappointed."
