Mourinho waits on Sneijder

José Mourinho is prepared to wait "until the very last minute" before deciding whether to field Wesley Sneijder against PFC CSKA Moskva after the playmaker injured his ankle in training.

José Mourinho will "wait until the very last minute" before deciding whether to start Wesley Sneijder in FC Internazionale Milano's UEFA Champions League quarter-final second leg against PFC CSKA Moskva after the playmaker suffered an ankle injury in training.

The Dutch international sustained a blow to his right ankle in a tackle with Sulley Muntari at the Luzhniki Stadium on Monday, making him a doubt for Tuesday's decider. "He had a problem in training; let's wait and see," said Mourinho of the 25-year-old. "I will wait until the very last minute as this is the most important game of the season and I will take risks if necessary."

Should Sneijder – who helped create the only goal of the first leg scored by Diego Milito – recover in time, he will make his 50th UEFA club competition appearance.
