Bendtner regrets losing lead quickly

Published: Tuesday 6 April 2010, 23.11CET
Arsenal FC striker Nicklas Bendtner pinpointed FC Barcelona's equaliser as the turning point in their UEFA Champions League quarter-final decider which the holders won 4-1 with Lionel Messi scoring all the hosts' goals. "The goal they got was a little bit funny because we gave them the ball and he made a great finish," said the Danish international, who put Arsenal ahead after 18 minutes. "Then they scored again and again and it's difficult to be behind at the Nou Camp." Of his team's tormentor in chief, Bendtner added: "He's a phenomenal player and he showed that again tonight."
