'Slight advantage' just reward for Robben

Published: Thursday 22 April 2010, 0.20CET
Arjen Robben praised FC Bayern München's resilience after their 1-0 UEFA Champions League semi-final first leg win against Olympique Lyonnais. Bayern had Franck Ribéry dismissed but edged ahead in the tie after Lyon were also reduced to ten men. "Nothing is decided yet but we have a slight advantage," said Robben. "Our team has a lot of character, we fought for 90 minutes. It was difficult with ten against 11 but at that point 0-0 was a good result and we had to give 10-20% more. After their red card we were the better team."
