Hurt in challenge
The Argentinian international was hurt after a collision with Arsenal midfield player Edu as the Brazilian scored the first goal in the Premiership leaders' 3-2 victory at the Balaídos on Tuesday night. After receiving treatment, Cavallero was able to complete the game.
Madrid miss
However, after an operation yesterday, Cavallero is definitely out of Sunday's trip to Real Madrid CF and the 29-year-old's participation against Arsenal on 10 March must be questionable with the recovery period estimated at two weeks.
