Turkey's EURO 2016 bid presentation

The Turkish Football Association made its final formal bid presentation to the UEFA Executive Committee in Geneva as it looked to win the right to stage UEFA EURO 2016.

The Turkish Football Association (TFF) made its final formal bid presentation to the UEFA Executive Committee in Geneva as it looked to win the right to stage UEFA EURO 2016 ahead of fellow candidates France and Italy.

The TFF bid included nine stadiums, of which two would require major renovations and seven would be new, in eight cities: Ankara, Antalya, Bursa, Eskisehir, Istanbul (Atatürk Olympic Stadium plus Galatasaray AŞ’s new stadium), Izmir, Kayseri, Konya.
