København strengthen with Ottesen

Defender Sölvi Ottesen has ended rumours about his future by signing a three-year contract with Danish champions FC København in a switch from SønderjyskE.

FC København have bolstered their squad ahead of their UEFA Champions League campaign by signing defender Sölvi Ottesen from Super League rivals SønderjyskE.

The 26-year-old Icelandic international has penned a three-year deal with the Danish champions, who enter Europe's elite club competition in the third qualifying round. "I am joining København with high ambitions and the wish to help the club win even more titles," said Ottesen, who has won 11 caps. "Many people have been speculating about my future lately, but for me there has really only been one option in Denmark and that was FCK."
