Sylvestr signs on at Dinamo

NK Dinamo Zagreb have quickly added to the signing of Tonel by prising Slovakian Under-21 international forward Jakub Sylvestr from ŠK Slovan Bratislava on a five-year deal.

NK Dinamo Zagreb have strengthened their squad with the purchase of Slovakian Under-21 international forward Jakub Sylvestr from ŠK Slovan Bratislava.

The 21-year-old, who broke into the Slovan Bratislava first team in 2007 and scored 13 times in 83 league appearances, has signed a five-year contract with the UEFA Europa League group stage hopefuls. "I have come to a big, ambitious club," he said. "This is a major step forward in my career and I want to win trophies here. I already know some of my team-mates – they are very good players and I am looking forward to playing with them."

Dinamo signed Portuguese international defender Tonel from Sporting Clube de Portugal on Friday as they bolster their ranks ahead of UEFA Europa League Group D action, in which they will face Villarreal CF, PAOK FC and Club Brugge KV.
