One of the most exciting formations any team can use, FC Barcelona's 4-3-3 system during the 2008/09 season proved to be a winning formula as they went all the way to glory in the UEFA Champions League, defeating Manchester United FC in the final. Former Tottenham Hotspur FC manager David Pleat explains why Josep Guardiola's side were so perfectly suited to the formation and why it made them such a dangerous proposition.
