Panathinaikos FC's injury list has lengthened going into Wednesday's UEFA Champions League Group D game against FC København with the news that midfielder Cédric Kanté and defender Giourkas Seitaridis have joined Sidney Govou on the sidelines.

Kante, 31, fractured the ring finger on his right hand in Saturday's league encounter against Panionios GSS and has been ruled out for three weeks. Seitaridis, who had only just returned to training after a left thigh muscle problem, has suffered a setback and will definitely not face FCK. The exact length of the 29-year-old's absence will be determined on Tuesday.

France striker Govou had already been ruled out after straining a thigh muscle in training on Sunday. He was Greek champions' goalscorer in their opening 5-1 defeat at FC Barcelona.
