Olympique Lyonnais striker Lisandro has been ruled out for "the next three weeks" according to coach Claude Puel after sustaining a calf injury in training on Friday.

The Argentinian international had recently returned to form following a start to the campaign hampered by an Achilles injury but will now miss Tuesday's UEFA Champions League trip to face SL Benfica.

Puel also revealed that midfielder Miralem Pjanić was rested for Saturday's 2-1 win against FC Sochaux-Montbéliard due to a groin injury, while Michel Bastos, substituted with a bruised right thigh at half-time, will undergo a fitness test before the Benfica game.

Midfielder Jean II Makoun must also be assessed prior to the Group B contest after sustaining a thigh injury during the warm-up before Lyon's midweek French League Cup defeat by Paris Saint-Germain FC. Lyon lead their UEFA Champions League section with maximum points from three matches and will qualify for the last 16 with a draw in Lisbon.
