Juventus have been counting the cost of Saturday's 2-1 victory at AC Milan after losing winger Jorge Martínez and left-back Paolo De Ceglie for two and three months respectively, meaning the pair will miss the rest of their UEFA Europa League Group A campaign.

Martínez, who was replaced by Mohamed Sissoko after 56 minutes at San Siro, has fractured a bone in his left foot and will undergo surgery in the next few days. Signed from Calcio Catania this summer, the 27-year-old Uruguayan international will be out of action for at least two months.

As for De Ceglie, taken off four minutes before the interval following an accidental clash with Milan defender Daniele Bonera, he has fractured his left knee. The club will decide whether he needs surgery in the next few days, but either way the 24-year-old will be sidelined for three months.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Alexander Manninger – Marco Storari's deputy in Serie A but Luigi Delneri's first choice in the UEFA Europa League – will be absent for about a month after twisting his left ankle in training on Friday. Juventus, who have drawn all three of their Group A games so far, find themselves four points behind leaders Manchester City FC and one behind KKS Lech Poznań as they prepare to host FC Salzburg on Thursday.
