Sevilla FC have been dealt a blow ahead of their UEFA Europa League trip to Paris Saint-Germain FC on 2 December with the news that Luís Fabiano will be absent with a hamstring tear.

The 30-year-old Brazil forward came on to score his fourth Liga goal in ten appearances during the home defeat by RCD Mallorca on Sunday only to finish the game complaining of discomfort in his right leg. Subsequent tests revealed the extent of the injury with club medics predicting the player could be sidelined for up to three weeks.

The Spanish side top the Group J standings having won all three matches since their Matchday 1 loss at home to PSG in September.
