• Claudemir Domingues de Souza began his career in his native Brazil with Sao Paulo state outfit São Carlos, spending only a year there before joining Dutch club Vitesse.

• Became an assiduous midfielder for the Arnhem side, starting all but one Eredivisie game in 2008/09 and the full complement of 34 in 2009/10.

• Ended his Vitesse career with nine league goals and joined København on a five-year contract on 20 June 2010.

• Made his European debut in the third qualifying round of the 2010/11 UEFA Champions League against FC BATE Borisov (0-0) before starting all six matches in the group stage.

• Scored his first European goal on Matchday 4 in a 1-1 home draw with FC Barcelona and added two more in the Superligaen as FCK strode clear at the top of the table in pursuit of a third successive Danish title.
