• Of West African ancestry, Zohore was born in Copenhagen and displayed special talent for Kjøbenhavns Boldklub, FCK's feeder club, where he honed his skills for four years.
• Represented Denmark at youth level, scoring six goals in ten matches for the Under-17s.
• Became the Superligaen's youngest player at 16 years and 35 days when he came on as a substitute in a 5-0 win against AGF Århus on 7 March 2010; it was his only appearance of the club's 2009/10 title-winning campaign.
• Made his UEFA Champions League debut, still aged 16, in the 2-0 loss to FC Barcelona at Camp Nou on 20 October 2010 and scored his first Superligaen goal ten days later in 3-2 home win versus Lyngby BK.
