• Scored his first league goal for Braga in a 3-2 defeat by FC Porto and also found the net in the UEFA Champions League group stage against FK Partizan in a 2-0 home win on Matchday 3; ever-present (eight appearances) in the UEFA Europa League as the Arsenalistas reached the 2011 final in Dublin.

• Struck 20 league goals for Braga during the 2011/12 season, before moving to SL Benfica on the final day of the summer transfer window in August 2012 and scoring three in his first two league games for the Eagles.
