We investigate a golden era of Spanish youth football.

In the period from 1995 to 2010, Spain won nine UEFA titles from Under-16 to U19 level while also finishing runners-up at these youth championships on six occasions. It was an era that produced FIFA World Cup winners Fernando Torres, Sergio Ramos and final hero Andrés Iniesta. But what was the secret of Spain's success? We asked the key men involved at the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) to try to find out.
