Under-21 debut: 1-2 v Greece (03/03/2010)

• Became the youngest player to represent Villa, his home-town club, in UEFA competition when he came on against FH Hafnarfjörður in a UEFA Cup second round tie in August 2008.

• Top scored with four goals at the 2009 U19 Championship in Ukraine as England lost 2-0 to the hosts in the final; struck on his U21 debut against Greece during qualifying, six minutes after coming on.

• Scored on his first start for Villa, against MŠK Žilina in December 2008, and did likewise at Hull City AFC having joined Burnley on loan in March 2011.
