• Joined Chelsea in July 2005 aged 16 but found first-team chances limited at Stamford Bridge, spending much of his time away from the club on loan.

• A pacy winger, Sinclair made only a handful of appearances for the Blues before joining Swansea on a permanent basis in August 2010.

• Proved to be a bargain for the Welsh club as he inspired their promotion to the Premier League with 19 second-tier goals, including a hat-trick in the Championship play-off final against Reading FC in May 2011.
