U21s a boon to grassroots

We investigate the impact at grassroots level that hosting the 2011 UEFA European Under-21 Championship finals will have in Denmark and also in Israel in 2013.

While the UEFA European Under-21 Championship offers an opportunity for some of Europe's rising stars to showcase their talents, the tournament also provides a window through which to glimpse the best in grassroots football. We find out what the Danish Football Association (DBU) is planning, as well as measuring the impact at grassroots level that hosting the 2013 finals will have in Israel.
