• Made his Karpaty debut against FC Arsenal Kyiv in May 2007 but only became an established first team presence in the 2008/09 season; he has now made over 60 league appearances.

• Featured in six 2010/11 UEFA Europa League games, including the play-off victory against Galatasaray AŞ; scored his first goal in UEFA club competition in a 4-3 defeat against Borussia Dortmund in the group stage opener.

• The attacking midfielder played in just one qualifier leading up to the 2011 U21 finals, but scored both goals as Ukraine beat Belgium 2-0 in Sint-Truiden.
