• Returned for Slavia in October 2010 after eight months on the sidelines recovering from knee surgery; joined Kaiserslautern on loan in January 2011 to regain match sharpness.

• Broke an ankle in February 2007 which precluded him from taking part in the Czech Republic's run to the final of the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Canada later that year.

• Has appeared for the seniors in UEFA EURO 2012 qualifying.
