Germany's mini-pitch focus

We find out how mini-pitches were the centrepiece of Germany's UEFA Grassroots Day celebrations.

More than 1,000 mini-pitches have been created in Germany since 2007 as part of a major grassroots campaign by the German Football Association (DFB). We visit the 1,019th to be opened, in Neu-Isenburg, to discover how the pitches are central to the DFB's celebrations for UEFA Grassroots Day.
