Third qualifying round draws set for 15 July

An imminent milestone in UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League qualification are the third qualifying round draws for either competition on Friday 15 July.

The draws for the third qualifying rounds of the 2011/12 UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League will take place on Friday 15 July.

The pairings for this stage of the two club competitions will be made during ceremonies to be held at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, starting at 12.00 and 13.30CET respectively. The draw ceremonies will be conducted by UEFA general secretary, Gianni Infantino, and UEFA competitions director, Giorgio Marchetti.

The final list of participating clubs and the draw procedures will be communicated in due course. Media representatives wishing to attend these draws have to apply via email to fame_accreditations@uefa.ch before midday on Thursday 14 July.

Due to the high number of club representatives expected for the draws, only a restricted number of photographers and cameramen will be allowed to attend the events in the auditorium, with access being granted on a first-come, first-served basis.

The draws will be broadcast live on UEFA.com.
