The UEFA Champions League third qualifying round draw has taken place in Nyon, with FC Dynamo Kyiv being paired with FC Rubin Kazan once again.
The sides met in the 2009/10 group stage, with Dynamo winning 3-1 at home and then grinding out a 0-0 draw in Kazan. Those teams feature in the League Route along with eight other fresh clubs who enter the competition at this stage. That number includes SL Benfica, who take on Trabzonspor AŞ in another eye-catching tie.
Meanwhile, FC København, Rangers FC and KRC Genk are the new additions to this season's qualifying tournament in the Champions Route. Having reached the last 16 in 2010/11, Danish titleholders FCK will face either Shamrock Rovers FC or FC Flora Tallinn for a place in the play-offs, with the Irish outfit a goal ahead following Tuesday's second qualifying round first leg.
The ties will be played on 26/27 July and 2/3 August. The losing sides will go onto the UEFA Europa League play-offs while the winners will compete for a place in the UEFA Champions League group stage.
