FC Viktoria Plzeň captain Pavel Horváth said his side will enjoy the moment after defeating FC København 5-2 on aggregate on their way to a first UEFA Champions League group stage appearance, with coach Pavel Vrba revealing that "Bayern München are the side I would like to play". FCK, meanwhile, will have to settle for a place in the UEFA Europa League with defender Mathias Jørgensen and goalkeeper Johan Wiland conceding that their side were "not good enough".

Pavel Vrba, Plzeň coach
We were criticised last season for not managing the second half of our games, so I think we put that right here. The players showed great spirit and we can look forward to playing some great teams in the group stage. Bayern München are the side I would like to play.

Pavel Horváth, Plzeň captain
We had a sleepy start again but we made up for it. I am glad that we have made it through and we can revel in our achievement now.

Milan Bakoš, Plzeň striker
We went through some tough times after they took the lead, as they played well and didn't give us space to break. Fortunately, they started to open up a bit more and we were able to capitalise on that in the end.

Mathias Jørgensen, FCK defender
It was frustrating. We played very well in the first half and managed to push them back. However, the fact was that we had to score three goals and were simply not good enough over 90 minutes. The changes to our team have had an effect but I think we have done well so far this season and are leading the Danish league. It is bitterly disappointing to go out but we will have to prove that we are a great team in the Europa League.

Johan Wiland, FCK goalkeeper
We were simply not good enough and neglected to do the things we should have done. We played two good halves overall – one at home and one away – and of course that was not enough. Over the two matches, it was fair that Plzeň went got into the group stage instead of us.
