Olympiacos FC have been handed a blow ahead of their back-to-back UEFA Champions League meetings with Borussia Dortmund after midfielder David Fuster suffered a rib fracture in domestic action on Saturday.

The 29-year-old had to be replaced at half-time during Olympiacos's 1-1 draw at AEK Athens FC and will be sidelined for at least a month. He will therefore miss Wednesday's home match against Dortmund and their return encounter on 1 November, with his team desperate to pick up their first points in Group F. Olympiacos hope to have him back for their Greek Super League derby with arch-rivals Panathinaikos FC on 19 November.

Coach Ernesto Valverde has additional concerns ahead of Wednesday's game with Vassilis Torossidis and Ljubomir Fejsa both extremely doubtful after the duo picked up knocks during UEFA EURO 2012 qualifying last week.
