Which player most inspired you and why? Xavi Hernández, for the way he passes and holds the ball. He is also a great worker. Zinédine Zidane was another of the best.

Which coach most inspired you? Sheryl Botes.

What was the best advice they gave you? Discipline, determination, dedication, hard work, respect, and to treat each game as a cup final.

Best player you've played with? Christiane.

Toughest opponent? In Africa, Nigeria. Also England, China, the Netherlands and Lyon.

What are your memories of your first club as a child? My childhood was not amazing, but because of football I am the person I am today. My first club, Detroit Ladies, laid a solid foundation for me, in terms of educating me about women's football and the opportunities open to me.

What tip would you give a young player hoping to succeed? Many opportunities are being put on the table for young an upcoming women footballers, so I would say grab it and work hard. You must be disciplined, determined and have dedication.
