UEFA today announced the opening of the media accreditation application period for non-broadcast media and event non-rights holders for this season's three European club competition finals.

The application period runs from Sunday 1 April until Friday 27 April for all three events, which are as follows:

2012 UEFA Europa League final, to be played on Wednesday 9 May at 21.45 local time (20.45CET) at the National Arena Bucharest

2012 UEFA Women's Champions League final, to be played on Thursday 17 May at 18.00CET at the Olympiastadion in Munich

2012 UEFA Champions League final, to be played on Saturday 19 May at 20.45CET at the Fußball Arena München in Munich.

Accreditation and media booking applications must be inserted by the end of Friday 27 April (midnight deadline).

Non-broadcast media already registered with UEFA via the FAME portal must apply using https://media.fame.uefa.com.

Non-rights holding broadcaster applicants must use the https://broadcasters.fame.uefa.com portal in order to apply for their accreditations and media bookings.

Media representatives who are not already registered with UEFA on the FAME portal can do so via http://www.uefa.com/uefa/mediaservices/accreditation/index.html.

Media will not be able to apply for accreditation until they have successfully completed the registration procedure and their registration has been approved by UEFA.
