• Madrid have scored 346 goals in the UEFA Champions League, group stage to final.

• José Mourinho's side have scored 33 goals, the joint highest total in the competition along with FC Barcelona. They have had 90 shots on goal and been caught offside 46 times, both more than any other semi-finalist.

• Karim Benzema and Kaká have provided five assists so far, the joint highest total in the competition along with Bayern's Franck Ribéry and Nicolás Gaitán of SL Benfica.

• Gonzalo Higuaín, Xabi Alonso, Sergio Ramos and Fábio Coentrão will incur a ban with their next bookings.

• The Merengues were 20 matches unbeaten, winning 15, before the first leg in Munich.

• Madrid scored 67 goals in the first half of their Liga campaign, eclipsing the record set by Barcelona (61) last term. Ronaldo contributed 23, taking him past César Rodríguez's Liga record of 22 for Barcelona in 1950/51.

• Mourinho's side claimed a club record 11 successive away wins before drawing 2-2 with Barcelona on 25 January.

• Franck Ribéry has set up five goals, the joint highest total along with Kaká, Karim Benzema and SL Benfica's Nicolás Gaitán.

• Ribéry has been fouled 37 times; more than any other player.

• Philipp Lahm, Holger Badstuber, David Alaba, Jérôme Boateng, Toni Kroos, Luiz Gustavo and Thomas Müller will incur a suspension with their next bookings.

• Ribéry's late goal kept Bayern in contention for the Bundesliga title for three more hours before Borussia Dortmund's 2-0 win against VfL Borussia Mönchengladbach gave Die Schwarzgelben an unassailable eight-point lead at the summit with two games to go.

• Jupp Heynckes's side have won just eight of their last 20 away games in all competitions in regulation time. By contrast they have won 12 of their last 13 home matches, drawing the other.

• Ribéry's goal in Bremen took him to 12 in the Bundesliga this term, passing his previous best of 11 set in 2007/08.

• Bayern have now gone two seasons without winning the Bundesliga, their longest drought since Dortmund's last back-to-back titles in 1994/95 and 1995/96; back then, FCB gained consolation with the 1996 UEFA Cup.

• Gomez has struck 41 goals in his last 47 appearances for club and country.

• Alaba became the youngest player to reach 50 Bundesliga appearances for the club against 1. FSV Mainz 05 on 14 April. At 19 years, 295 days, he beat the mark of Hans-Georg Schwarzenbeck (20 years, 17 days).

• Heynckes's charges will meet Dortmund in the German Cup final in Berlin on 12 May.

• Bayern's 2-0 win against VfL Wolfsburg on 28 January was Heynckes's 456th Bundesliga victory as coach and player, surpassing Otto Rehhagel's German top-flight record.

• Between 7 August and 18 October, Neuer and Bayern went a club record 1,147 minutes without conceding.

Injury news
• Daniel Van Buyten has been unavailable with a broken metatarsal since 20 January.

• Breno, out since having a knee operation on 11 May, is yet to play this season. He was an unused substitute against Wolfsburg on 28 January but has since undergone further knee surgery.

• Bayern confirmed on 4 April that Gomez had signed a contract extension, tying him to the club until 2016.

• FC Basel 1893's Xherdan Shaqiri will join on a four-year deal this summer, when Schweinsteiger's brother Tobias, 30, links up with Bayern's reserve team from third tier SSV Jahn 2000 Regensburg.
