Di Natale signs on for more with Udinese

Two days after returning from UEFA EURO 2012, Italy's Antonio Di Natale has signed a 12-month contract extension at Udinese Calcio tying him to the Stadio Friuli until June 2014.

Udinese Calcio captain Antonio Di Natale has signed a 12-month contract extension, tying him to the Zebrette until June 2014.

The 34-year-old, a member of the Italy squad that reached the UEFA EURO 2012 final, penned the deal on his return from Poland and Ukraine. The Naples-born forward has scored 135 goals in 264 Serie A appearances since arriving at the Stadio Friuli in 2004, including 80 in the last three seasons. He struck 23 goals as Udinese finished third behind Juventus and AC Milan last term to earn a UEFA Champions League play-off berth.
