SSC Napoli have signed Swiss international Valon Behrami and Alessandro Gamberini from ACF Fiorentina for undisclosed deals.

Behrami, a 27-year-old winger who can also play at full-back, departs the Viola just 18 months after arriving from West Ham United FC. Gamberini, meanwhile, was club captain last term, his seventh season since linking up from Bologna FC. The centre-back, 30, won eight caps with Italy during that time but was not part of the Azzurri's UEFA EURO 2012 squad.

Coppa Italia holders Napoli finished fifth in Serie A and will be in this season's 2012/13 UEFA Europa League starting from the group stage.
