Napoli loan Gargano to Inter

SSC Napoli have loaned 28-year-old Uruguayan international midfielder Walter Gargano to FC Internazionale Milano with the option of a permanent transfer next summer.

FC Internazionale Milano have announced the signing of midfielder Walter Gargano on loan from fellow UEFA Europe League participants SSC Napoli, with an option to make the deal permanent next summer.

The 28-year-old, capped 44 times by Uruguay, moves to Internazionale after five seasons with Napoli – he played 165 Serie A matches with the Partenopei, scoring four goals including two last term when he helped them win the Coppa Italia. The Nerazzurri, who face SC Vaslui tonight in the first leg of their UEFA Europa League play-off, have also signed Gaby Mudingayi, Samir Handanovič, Rodrigo Palacio, Matías Silvestre and Antonio Cassano this summer.
