• Nordsjælland have a goal difference of -6; the worst in the competition.

• Nordsjælland are one of three clubs making their debut in the competition proper this season, along with Montpellier Hérault SC and Málaga CF.

• None of the Nordsjælland squad had played in the UEFA Champions League before this term.

International duty
• Nine Nordsjælland players were on duty during the international break: Patrick Mtiliga, Jesper Hansen, Jores Okore, Nicolai Stokholm, Kasper Lorentzen (Denmark), Michael Parkhurst (United States), Anders Christiansen, Andreas Laudrup and Mark Gundelach (Denmark U21s).

• Mtiliga was a substitute in Denmark's 1-1 draw with Bulgaria in FIFA World Cup qualifying on 12 October, while Stokholm and Lorentzen both featured in last Tuesday's 3-1 loss in Italy.

• Having sat out the US's 2-1 victory in Antigua and Barbuda on 12 October, Parkhurst played 90 minutes four days later as they beat Guatemala 3-1 to book a place in the final stage of CONCACAF World Cup qualifying.

• Christiansen, Laudrup and Gundelach featured in Denmark's 8-1 aggregate defeat by Spain in the UEFA European Under-21 Championship play-offs. Christiansen struck the consolation in the 3-1 second-leg loss last Tuesday.

Miscellaneous
• Nordsjælland have lost just one of their last 14 home games – the 4-0 defeat by Chelsea FC on matchday two.

• Kasper Hjulmand's team lost 3-0 at Odense BK on 5 October, their worst league defeat since going down 4-0 at Randers FC 6 March 2011.

• Nordsjælland will host FC Midtjylland in the Danish Cup fourth round on 31 October, the team they defeated in the final in 2010 and 2011.

Juventus

UEFA Champions League statistics
• Juventus were held 1-1 by FC Shakhtar Donetsk on matchday two, making them the first team ever to draw eight matches in succession in European competition.

• On matchday one Juventus became only the second team to avoid defeat against Chelsea FC in the UEFA Champions League after going two goals down, following AS Monaco FC in the 2004 semi-final second leg.

International duty
• Fifteen Juventus players were on senior duty during the international break: Gianluigi Buffon, Andrea Barzagli, Leonardo Bonucci, Chiellini, Emanuele Giaccherini, Claudio Marchisio, Andrea Pirlo, Sebastian Giovinco (Italy), Kwadwo Asamoah (Ghana), Nicklas Bendtner (Denmark), Cáceres (Uruguay), Mauricio Isla, Arturo Vidal (Chile), Stephan Lichtsteiner (Switzerland) and Mirko Vučinić (Montenegro).

• Pirlo opened the scoring with a penalty in Italy's 3-1 victory in Armenia in FIFA World Cup qualifying on 12 October. Buffon, Barzagli, Bonucci, Marchisio and Giovinco also started, while Giaccherini was a second-half substitute.

• Bendtner scored in Denmark's 1-1 draw in Bulgaria the same night, and four days later faced Barzagli, Chiellini, Pirlo, Marchisio and Giaccherini as Italy triumphed 3-1 at San Siro. Buffon missed out with a thigh injury.

• Vidal was sent off as Chile lost 3-1 to Ecuador in qualifying and suspended for the subsequent loss to Argentina.

• Luca Marrone played both games as Italy defeated Sweden 4-2 on aggregate in the play-offs to book a place at next summer's UEFA European Under-21 Championship in Israel.

Miscellaneous
• The Bianconeri are 47 Serie A games unbeaten, since a 1-0 defeat at Parma FC on 15 May 2011. Fabio Capello's AC Milan set the Italian top-flight record of 58 matches without defeat between 1991 and 1993.

• Paul Pogba scored his first goal for Juventus in Saturday's 2-0 victory at home to SSC Napoli.

• Juve are 25 games unbeaten away from home in all competitions, since that Parma loss.
