What are your memories of your first club as a child? The first memories I have from my first club, BMI, are that I did not know the rules and kicked the ball away when the other team had a free-kick. When I was older I rember that we had a great team and won almost every tournament in which we participated.

What tip would you give a young player hoping to succeed? Remember to have fun and play with the ball, alone in your garden or together with friends or family. It's fun and it will help improving your technique, which is very important.

What was the experience of playing in a youth final tournament? I played at the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in New Zealand in 2008. It's the greatest experience I have had! We had great matches against teams we had never played against, there were from 3,000 to 11,000 people who watched the games from the seats, and we reached the quarter-finals. Especially the game where we beat the hosts, New Zealand, 2-1 was very exciting!
