Zlatan Ibrahimović

Paris Saint-Germain FC

• Topped the Serie A scoring charts with a personal-best tally of 28 goals for AC Milan as the Rossoneri finished a close second to unbeaten Juventus in the Italian title race – which, paradoxically, ended the striker's long sequence of domestic title triumphs.

• Carried his fine club form into UEFA EURO 2012, where he scored two goals, one a spectacular volley against France, and was named in the UEFA Team of the Tournament – despite Sweden's group stage exit.

• Recruited at some cost by ambitious Paris Saint-Germain FC, he made an excellent start to his career in France, registering freely in Ligue 1 and the UEFA Champions League; was also on target in Sweden's remarkable comeback from four down to draw 4-4 against Germany in 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifying and then scored all of the Blågult's goals, including a remarkable overhead kick from outside the penalty area, in a 4-2 friendly defeat of England.
