Burak Yılmaz

Galatasaray AŞ

• Topped the Turkish Süper Lig scorers' charts in 2011/12 with 33 goals for Trabzonspor AŞ – 18 more than his closest pursuers – and thereby posted a new record mark for the Black Sea club.

• Having already played for Beşiktaş JK and Fenerbahçe SK, he became only the second player – after Sergen Yalçin – to represent the four leading Turkish clubs when he left Trabzonspor for Galatasaray AŞ in the summer.

• Maintained his prolific form with the Istanbul giants, notably in the UEFA Champions League, where he scored four goals in two games against CFR 1907 Cluj, including a perfect hat-trick – head, right foot, left foot – in the 3-1 away win.
