Midfielder Oleg Shatov could be in line to win his first cap and goalkeeper Sergei Ryzhikov his second after Russia coach Fabio Capello called them up for the friendly against Iceland.

Russia coach Fabio Capello has called up FC Rubin Kazan goalkeeper Sergei Ryzhikov, 32, and FC Anji Makhachkala midfielder Oleg Shatov, 22, for the friendly against Iceland in Marbella on 6 February.

The pair were selected after FC Dinamo Moskva trio Anton Shunin, Vladimir Granat and Aleksandr Kokorin were unavailable. Ryzhikov has played once for Russia, against Qatar in March 2011, while Shatov is uncapped at senior level after helping his country qualify for this summer's UEFA European Under-21 Championship finals in Israel.

Russia top Group F with a perfect record and no goals conceded in their opening four fixtures with their next assignment away to Northern Ireland on 22 March.
