Fenerbahçe SK have confirmed the signing of Cameroon striker Pierre Webó from neighbours İstanbul BB SK for a fee of €3m on a contract running until summer 2015.

Fenerbahçe SK have confirmed the signing of Cameroon striker Pierre Webó from neighbours İstanbul BB SK for a fee of €3m, a deal sealed just before the transfer deadline.

The 31-year-old has signed a contract until summer 2015 after 18 months at İstanbul, where he scored 23 goals in 52 league games. The forward previously spent eight years in the Spanish Liga with CD Leganés, CA Osasuna and RCD Mallorca, after beginning his career in Uruguay with Club Nacional de Football. His new club face FC BATE Borisov in the UEFA Europa League round of 32 on 14 and 21 February.
